ACP student peer instructors needed in Schaumburg

ACP 250 “OUR TOXIC WORLD” is in need of student peer instructors. Graduate students are welcome to apply.

Just a note to let you know that the student employment job posting for peer instructors for the ACP 250 sections for spring term is now available on E-recruiting.

Each ACP 250 section is eligible for multiple peer instructors (as many as three peer instructors for a class that reaches maximum enrollment of 40). The intent behind using peer instructors is to allow faculty instructors to do the group work that is essential to the problem-based learning concept of the class.

Each peer instructor works up to five hours weekly: They attend the class, meet with the faculty instructor, help guide students in group work and may do other tasks related to the section’s operation. The posting for the position appears on the Undergrad Studies page on the university’s web site ( ).
