Lots of great news for this week’s installment:
Curtis O’Dwyer, BS Biology S14, was accepted into Washington University’s Masters of Arts in Teaching. Not only was he accepted into this program, he was also given 100% FULL TUITION REMISSION! Please note that this is a 3 semester program with Full-time tuition for the 2014-2015 academic year listed on the website as $45,700! Curtis was in the first class of scholar athletes that attended RU. He played basketball for three years and this last year he acted a student coach. He is graduating one time [4 years] with a BS in Biology and minor in Mathematics!
Amanda Yamasaki, MS Biology S 14,was accepted into Notre Dame’s Ph.D. Program. More details on the specific program to follow.
Mariel Garcia, BS ALH has been accepted into Northwestern Memorial Hospital clinical schools Radiation Therapy. This program was her first choice and she will accept a seat in this program and decline her previous acceptance into the Nuclear Medicine program. She was accepted ON THE SPOT at the end of her interview, something I have never had happen to a student before.
