Sustainability Studies Student Symposium (Apr 23)

Come celebrate Earth Week on April 23 by learning about the exciting research projects being undertaken by Sustainability Studies undergraduate interns/researchers this year. This spring’s Student Symposium will feature three presentations:

– MaryBeth Radeck will describe her work on the Schaumburg Campus sustainable landscape redevelopment effort, including the management of the RU Community Garden during its 2nd growing season.

– Colleen Dennis will discuss her science and conservation internship in the Botany Department of the Field Museum.

– A team of student/graduate interns will talk about their work on the exciting marine conservation film project, “Microcosm.”

The event is free and will feature light refreshments and pleasant hobnobbing/networking at 4 p.m. in room 1016 of the Wabash Building. Presentations will start at 4:30 p.m. and end by 5:45 p.m.
